How to reach the Olomouc

By car

Olomouc is accessible via highways from Prague (highway D1 and speedway R46) and Ostrava (D1). Coming from Wien, use the connection through Mikulov and Brno to enter D1 highway. If you come from Bratislava, use D2 highway to Brno to reach D1 highway.

By train

Olomouc is connected directly with Prague (at least one train per hour, take SC Pendolino, Regio Jet or Leo Express, - all these trains are equipped with free wifi, travel time 2 - 2,5 hour), Brno and Ostrava. Coming from Wien or Bratislava, there is one transfer either in Břeclav or Brno or Přerov. In Olomouc Main railway station you can use taxi or local city transportation (abbreviated DPMO) to reach your hotel.

By bus

From Vaclav Havel Airport Prague

You can choose Airport express - bus directly to Main Railway station (cost = 60 CZK) - 40 minutes, or Bus 119 to Nadrazi Veleslavin station and then A line to Muzeum and change to C line to Hlavni Nadrazi (Main station) (cost = 32 CZK) 50 minutes, the info is available here Transport from Airport

Local city transportation (DPMO) in Olomouc

The Main railway station is the main transport junction in Olomouc. Use the scheme below of stops locations. Use one of any tramways to reach the Centrum. Use tramway 1 or 7 to reach JLO via stop Envelopa) or use tramways 2,4 or 6 to reach JLO via stop Žižkovo náměstí.
