Quantum random walk and its applications

Popis: 

Quantum random walk has many applications in describing different physical and biological processes, as for example, the light absorption and processing in the photosynthesis or the description of activity of human brain. Dynamics of such system is closely related on the connection to its surrounding, that generally results in a loss of coherence. The goal of this thesis is a study of various sources of decoherence that affect considered system.
